Project Manager, Market Research
We are seeking a confident, independent, and action-oriented Project Manager to lead market research projects from proposal acceptance through project close. A well-suited candidate can react and adjust quickly to changing conditions and identify practical ideas for dealing with issue resolution.

Job Description:
The Project Manager is responsible for the daily management of all market research projects from proposal acceptance through respondent recruiting and fielding to final report delivery and project close. This position owns the daily management meetings to update the team and senior executives on project status and oversees the implementation of all market research projects, including delegation of assigned tasks and follow-up action items. Development of this position requires a person with a strong attention to detail; the ability to exercise leadership in changing situations and to drive projects to closure on time and under budget. Support of both internal and external clients is required. The ability to not only present status reports but to anticipate, identify and escalate issues affecting project timeline and budget to senior management is critical. Projects are highly customized to meet the specific needs of individual clients; however, a consistent workflow process must be managed (or modified) for all projects to ensure efficient and effective delivery to clients.
Position Responsibilities:
Provide Project Management Leadership for Market Research Projects
Manage project phases including, but not limited to, proposal acceptance, respondent recruiting process and honoraria budget, project delivery and close-out.
Coordination of timelines and client needs with the project management and analytical teams to ensure project remains on time and under budget.
Proofing for accuracy of reports, requests for proposals, and all other in-office and out-of-office communications for both internal and client communications.
Manage responsibilities in a fast-paced dynamic environment while balancing multiple projects in various stages of completion simultaneously.
Create policies and procedures for this position including client and internal communication protocols, as well as software and database management tools necessary to complete project tasks efficiently and effectively.
Facilitate company improvements including aid in advancing the company capabilities presentations, website input, and marketing and advertising.
Interaction with subcontractors from sending RFPs, initiating projects through subcontractors and managing them to deliver to our level of quality, timelines and budget.
Requirements:
Advanced abilities with Microsoft Office 2007/2010 suite of office computer productivity software
Computer skills necessary to manage, manipulate and report from various and multiple database sources
Ability to drive self and team to meet scheduled deadlines
Utilization of effective time management skills to organize and manage multiple projects and prioritize
Experience in effectively and efficiently handling multiple priorities with interruptions or delays in delivery to internal and external clients
Discretion in handling confidential information
Excellent interpersonal and business communication skills complimented by strong leadership skills and professional maturity
Extreme attention to detail
Positive attitude and skilled aptitude
Extra Consideration:
Vendor and/or client primary market research experience.
Healthcare industry experience in market research.
Experience in moderating in-person and telephone in-depth interviews and focus groups.

Compensation:
Up to $70,000 considered for long-term experience in Market Research Project Management specifically.
