Seeking an experienced millwork estimator to help with sales and assist in estimating.
Commercial Cabinet Shop seeks a experienced estimator to: provide cost estimates with material take offs, and submit proposals.
Requirements:
2+ Years of experience in project estimating specific to architectural woodwork including commercial cabinets and millwork. This includes a strong working knowledge of performing detailed take-offs, obtaining quotes and negotiating with vendors, creating RFI's and substitution requests, writing detailed scope letters and bid proposals, and following up with General Contractors on previously submitted bid proposals
2+ Years of experience with reading and interpreting architectural plans, specifications, and scopes of work
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Prior working knowledge of architectural woodwork as a craftsman, carpenter, or Project Manager is a plus
Excellent team-working and communication skills is a must
