Job Overview:
Family Funsports, a leading provider of ATVs, Dirt Bikes, Side by Sides, Scooters, Motorcycles, and recreational family sports in Greenwood, Indiana, is seeking skilled and enthusiastic Powersports Small Engine Technicians to join our team.
This position involves the assembly, repair, and maintenance of small engines used in powersports equipment. We’re looking for individuals who are passionate about powersports, mechanically inclined, and dedicated to providing top-notch customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose, repair, and maintain small engines, including ATVs, dirt bikes, motorcycles, and other powersports vehicles.
Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire replacements, and brake inspections.
Troubleshoot and resolve engine, mechanical, and electrical issues on a variety of powersports equipment.
Use diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately assess and repair mechanical problems.
Maintain a clean, organized workspace and ensure proper inventory of parts and tools.
Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance needs to customers in a clear, understandable way.
Stay current with new techniques, tools, and powersports models.
Assembly
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a small engine technician or in a related field.
Knowledge of small engine repair, particularly for powersports equipment.
Strong mechanical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to use diagnostic and repair tools effectively.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information to customers.
Certification in small engine repair is a plus but not required.
Must have your own tools.
