Eurofins Drinking Water and Waste Water Central, formerly Eurofins Eaton Analytical, a nationally recognized laboratory, is searching for a Shipping Technician for our South Bend, Indiana lab. Shipping Technician responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:Verify sample preservation, following standard operating procedures (SOPs)Delivery of samples to walk-in refrigerators or lab areas after receiptAssist with sample disposal queue and actionsProduce bottle kits, add preservatives to containers, and perform shipping, receiving, and login dutiesClean equipment, such as glassware, coolers, sinks, tables, samplers using solvents, water and detergents or acids according to Standard Operating ProceduresFollow safe work practices and adheres to company guidelines and policies for planning and executing work in a safe mannerPerforms other duties, as directedPosition is full-time, M-F 8am-5pm, with additional hours as needed.
