What You'll DoWe are looking for a Software Engineer I to join our Business Owner Solutions IT team. Able to work with guidance on software development/solutions. With guidance, develop productivity skills by learning source control, editors, the build system, and other tools as well as automated testing best practices. Focus on growing as an engineer, learning existing tools, resources and processes. Capable of taking well-defined sub-tasks and completing these tasks. Developing the ability to write readable, maintainable, supportable code. Begin to learn security policies and standards.

Develop knowledge of a software product from end to end, understanding customer needs.

Stay current and engagedin industry trends.
Assist in communicating technical concepts to business stakeholders as well as communicating business objectives to the technical team.
Perform other job-related duties or special projects as required.

Associate's or bachelor's degree, preference in a computer science, technology, engineering or math-related field or equivalent experience
Ability to obtain certification(s) in an IT related field is a plus
Basic planning, organizational, problem-solving, analytical, decision-making and communication skills required
Proficiency with database applications, distributed and/or web programming language
Basic leadership skills preferred
Excellent time management skills preferred
Must be able to maintain a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality
Must have the desire and ability to learn new technology and continuously grow
Ability to work on cross-functional teams and collaborate with both IT and non-IT partners
Some travel may be required, including overnight stays
May be required to provide on-call support
Salary Range InformationSalary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance.
