What You'll DoAs Senior Director – Fund Shareholder Services, you will lead and drive shareholder services activities across Principal’s fund offerings, including 40-Act mutual funds, CITs, /ETFs, and UCITS to enable sustainable, long-term growth.Drive sustainable, cost-effective shareholder service activities across Principal’s fund offerings.

Engage with stakeholders and team to assess the robustness and competitiveness of existing agreements, controls, polices, production output, and workflows.

Drive the development and execution of a strategic roadmap that elevates team outcomes and services provided. .

Establish measures and metrics to assess the effectiveness of outsourced providers and internal team members.

Serve in a control capacity, certifying material applicable to Principal Funds.

Boards/Industry engagement

Stay abreast of industry, competitive, and regulatory landscape to drive to identify opportunities to improve quality and efficiency and to identify emerging regulations that may impact team functions or resource needs.

Speak at/participate in industry conferences and serve on, or engage with, internal/external boards, committees, councils, and working groups as applicable.

Who You Are

12+ years of relevant asset management/financial services experience with a focus on intermediary services, including transfer agency/service provider oversight.

Successful track record of cultivating strong relationships with external and internal constituents.

Experience operating in a global, matrixed organization.

Demonstrated experience leading individuals in a multi-location model.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

FINRA SIE or equivalent, series 7 and 24 required within 6 months of start date

Salary Range InformationSalary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance.
