Superior Skilled Trades is seeking a Maintenance Electrician for an immediate start in Muscatine, IA!
LONG TERM PROJECT, OVERTIME, PER DIEM!
PAY: $40-45/hour (based upon experience)
PER DIEM: $100/day 5 days a week
HOURS: Shifts will be 8-hour days, 6 days a week (48 hours per week)
SCHEDULE: Workdays will be Monday- Saturday; 7:00am – 3:30 pm (must be flexible)
START DATE: ASAP
DURATION: Long-term
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the electrical systems of our facilities are maintained, repaired, and functioning efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work in a variety of settings, including construction sites and commercial environments.
Duties:
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems and equipment.
Troubleshoot electrical issues using tools such as ohmmeters and voltmeters.
Read and interpret blueprints to understand electrical layouts and specifications.
Work with low voltage systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for installation and repair tasks.
Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to complete projects efficiently.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
Adhere to all safety protocols while working in various environments.
Work with Ford 20 instrumentation, ensuring proper setup and functionality.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Maintenance Electrician or similar role.
Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment, including ohmmeters and voltmeters.
Strong ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams.
Knowledge of low voltage systems is preferred.
Familiarity with logic controllers and their applications in maintenance tasks.
Ability to work effectively with hand tools and power tools.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Additional Requirements for Maintenance Electrician:
Must be eligible to work in the United States
Must have reliable transportation to the job site
