Identifies and documents maladaptive behavioral issues / concerns through observation of residents and review of individual records, in addition to the accumulation, summarization, and review of relevant data as necessary
Develops, implements, and monitors ICF/ID programs to decrease maladaptive behaviors
Reviews, demonstrates, and instructs appropriate team members in the implementation and documentation of established behavioral programs and intervention strategies
Assists with the general supervision of the unit in compliance with protocols established by the care center
Qualifications / Requirements
Psychology / human services-related degree or a minimum of two (2) years supervisory experience working with the intellectually disabled, utilizing behavior management strategies and techniques
Must possess outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
