You will serve as the leader of a mechanical engineering design team designing Oxygen & Passenger Service Unit products in partnership with project engineers, software/system engineers, certification engineers, and other project team members from around the world.

You will lead a team of direct reports ensuring completion of deliverables and projects, coaching through difficult situations, working with cross-functional teams, and supporting career development of your team.

You will lead the analysis of our existing processes and tools while also developing new processes and tools.

You be involved in all phases of the engineering processes from concept evaluation and proposal to design and development to qualification/certification and product field support.

You will participate and/or chair design reviews, lessons learned, troubleshooting and performance to ensure electrical design maturity and troubleshooting any challenges.

Ensure your team’s alignment to the company and department vision and mission statements and goals by building a culture of world class engineering development using strong ethical behavior.

Ensure that program milestones, design criteria, and deliverable quality are met.

Lead your team through big and proposal opportunities of new products and customers.

Education & Experience:

Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience.

U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Experience leading teams through development projects

Mechanical engineering design experience

Product development experience

Experience building teams

DO-160 or MIL-STD environmental qualification

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
