Content Management Consultant (Legal/Securities Senior Editor)

LOCATION: (Hybrid – 8 days a month in the office) – see eligible locations on the job posting.OVERVIEWAs a senior level editor, you will have the responsibility for supporting Wolters Kluwer product lines which consist of multi-platform publications that contain federal and state laws, regulations, cases, agency materials, as well as news and analysis written by our editorial staff and external parties.Your tasks will include tracking and codifying amendments to laws and regulations; writing news and articles about cases, regulatory actions, legislation, and industry events; reviewing the work of others (including outside vendors); creating and implementing standardization and efficient workflows; creating and implementing a digital-first strategy; and responding to customer and sales inquiries.This is an individual contributor role reporting to the Manager, Content Management – Legal and Regulatory.RESPONSIBILITITES

Track regulations and other developments at Federal agencies, and update products to reflect proposed rule changes.

Coordinate product updates and processes (e.g., serve as product lead, daily product coordinator).

Write news articles and summaries explaining regulatory, judicial, legislative, and industry developments.

Maintain Smart Charts.

Maintain explanatory content.

Respond to customer and sales inquiries regarding product content.

Develop thought leadership material and assist in thought leadership.

Review and proo the work of others including vendors.

Collaborate on the development of marketing materials.

Collaborate work with external vendors and other parts of the business.

Implement strategy for working with external vendors.

Assist or take the lead on special projects.

Respond to media inquiries.

QUALIFICATIONSEducation:

Law degree with 8+ years of practice or research experience OR,

Master’s degree with 8+ years of practice experience OR,

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 10+ years of related practical or writing experience, or research experience (prefer degree in specialty area).

Required Experience

Law knowledge in the relevant practice area.

Legal research and legal writing skills.

Preferred:

License to practice law.

Related practical experience.

Media or publishing industry experience.

Experience in securities, banking, or antitrust law.
