The ideal candidate will be technically strong and must have an understanding of large-scale distributed systems (cloud-based environments).ResponsibilitiesAs a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.Qualifications
5+ years experience in a software development environment
Development experience in Java, Python, SQL, object oriented programming and scripting languages
Knowledge of Cloud Technology and Infrastructure concepts
Written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear, concise manner to all audiences
Comfortably in a collaborative, agile development environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Jira, Confluence, BitBucket
Knowledge of Scrum & Agile Methodologies
Familiarity and understanding of distributed computing and cloud-based platforms.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
