Perform development testing as needed by the business to support Research and Development goals and objectives.
Interpret and carry-out testing requirements for annual validations of various products.
Maintain Lab work instructions and documentation.
Assist with testing to determine root cause analysis of quality related issues, waste reductions and processing issues.
This position has responsibility for testing for any products produced in the Franklin, KY facility (along with divisional needs – as necessary).
Support operational excellence activities of the company.
Support all plant safety and environmental policies and promote safe work environment.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
H.S Diploma or GED Required
1-3 Product Development experience preferred.
Ability to work flexible hours on occasion if needed.
ISO familiarity or training preferred.
Good interpersonal skills needed and the ability to handle multiple, varied projects, and act with sense of urgency.
Good computer and math skills required.
Previous laboratory experience is desirable .
Experience on production equipment desirable.
