The Control Room Operator will manage the systems in the control room, monitor all baggage handling system conditions, and coordinate all system and operation related activities. The Control Room Operator will report all system faults and breakdowns to Maintenance Technicians accurately, to minimize system downtime and log all information that causes system stoppage.Key Responsibilities:Coordinate the execution of the operational procedures for specific tasks during normal operations or during system failure.Supply accurate fault reports and system breakdowns to technical staff for quick fault resolution.Complete handover report during shift changes.Maintain contact with the operations staff in the field to inform them of any operational problems that require intervention.Liaise with management regarding daily operations.Maintain contact with other stakeholders of the BHS to manage the daily problems or questions related to system operation.Monitor system performance (system baggage flow).Monitor manual encoder operator performance.Technical and procedural training to manual encoding operators in performing their duties.Elaboration of the operation shift report.Analysis of eventual problems to determine corrective actions possible to prevent their future appearance.Carry out other assignments as requested from management or shift supervisors.Compensation Range: $23.00-$25.44 hourlyThe posted range reflects the compensation the company reasonably expects to offer for this position.
