Description: Applies comprehensive technical knowledge to solve complex problems by interpreting manufacturer’s maintenance manuals, service bulletins, technical data, and engineering data. Repairs, replaces, and rebuilds electrical system wiring, connectors, and components using hand tools, power tools, and applicable test equipment. Fabricate harness and electrical assemblies. Work requires familiarity with the interrelationships of circuits and judgment in planning work sequence and in selecting tools and testing instruments. Receives technical guidance, as required from supervisor or higher level technicians, and work is reviewed for compliance with accepted practices. May provide technical guidance to lower level technicians.Basic Qualifications:Equivalent experience/education combinations are permitted based on the typical minimums required for this job which are:3 years of related experience in repairing, replacing, and rebuilding electrical system wiring, connectors, and components using hand tools, power tools. and applicable test equipment.Experience in utilizing electrical test equipment such as digital multi-meters and oscilloscopes.Must be proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, engineering drawings and technical manuals.Desired Skills:Soldering experiencePrior harness fabrication experienceProficient in reading engineering drawings and blueprintsExperience fabricating on forming boardsBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:job.QualificationsLockheed Martin is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
