Qualifications

Master's degree from an accredited school approved by the Council on Social Work Education

Current Social Work License/Certification through the Kentucky Board of Social Work required.

One year of social work in a health care setting is preferred/home care experience will be a significant advantage

Must obtain and maintain CPR certification

  • Summary This position is located at the VA Health Care System in Lexington, KY. The incumbent serves as, Laundry Worker, in the Sanitation Section of the Environmental Management Service. The Medical Center is a tertiary care facility that provides acute medical, surgical, neurological, and mental health inpatient services with a 99-bed complement at the Cooper Drive Division. Responsibilities Duties Include but are not limited too: The Laundry Worker must analyze work schedules, determine manpower requirements, materials, methods, procedures and equipment required to, accomplish any objective.
