Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Payroll Accountant. This position is based in Lexington, Massachusetts, in the United States. As a Payroll Accountant, you will be part of an organization operating within the industry. Your role will involve handling various accounting functions and utilizing different software systems.Responsibilities: Conduct payroll reporting and reconciliation to the general ledger Utilize ADP WorkForce Now and Sage Intacct software in the execution of tasks Leverage intermediate to advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting Apply excellent reconciliation and analytical skills to ensure financial accuracy Handle general ledger and financial statement tasks Utilize knowledge of payroll compliance concepts to ensure adherence to regulations Employ various Accounting Software Systems in performing accounting functions Use ADP - Financial Services for payroll and financial operations Administer Ceridian and Concur software systems in performing duties Handle 401k - RRSP Administration tasks and About Time software in managing timekeeping and payroll. Requirements Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential. Experience with ADP - Financial Services is required. Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now is a must. Knowledge of Ceridian and Concur is desirable. Understanding of 401k - RRSP Administration is needed. Experience with About Time software is beneficial. Ability to perform Accounting Functions efficiently. Knowledge of Accrual Accounting is essential. Auditing skills are highly valuable.
