As a Senior Principal Statistical Programmer at ICON, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of statistical programming strategies, ensuring high-quality data analysis and reporting.What You Will Be Doing:
Developing and executing statistical programming strategies, focusing on data analysis and reporting.
Leading the design and implementation of statistical programs using SAS and other programming languages to analyze data.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including data management, clinical operations, project management, medical writing, and regulatory affairs, to ensure comprehensive data analysis and reporting.
Mentoring and guiding junior statistical programmers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Staying abreast of regulatory standards, industry trends and emerging technologies to integrate best practices into statistical programming strategies.
Contributing to regulatory submissions and publications, ensuring the integrity and transparency of data analyses.
Your Profile:
A master’s degree or Ph.D. in Statistics, Biostatistics, Data Science, or a related field.
Extensive experience in statistical programming, with a proven track record of leveraging data analytics in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
Strong proficiency in statistical programming languages (e.g., SAS, R) and experience with data analysis techniques.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights.
Demonstrated leadership skills, with experience in managing and mentoring teams effectively.
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
