Nevel Meade Golf Course in Prospect, KY is actively seeking a committed individual to join our team as a Golf Course Maintenance staff member. The ideal candidate must be ready and willing to consistently uphold our high standards by working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Exceptional performance is a must.
While prior experience is advantageous, we are open to providing training for individuals who exhibit enthusiasm and dedication. Essential qualifications for this role include exceptional mobility, previous experience in golf course maintenance, commercial mowing, or general outdoor labor, the ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs, availability to work on weekends, a positive attitude towards strenuous labor, and a preference for understanding the game of golf, although this is not mandatory.
Key responsibilities encompass mowing activities, including greens, tees, fairways, and rough, as well as weedeating, bunker raking, debris and trash removal, pruning, mulching, tool maintenance, assisting in irrigation repair, and various other meticulous course-related tasks.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday 6AM-2:00PM
Mandatory to work a Saturday or Sunday 6AM-10AM
This role offers flexibility and potential for career advancement. Compensation for the position ranges from $15 to $18 per hour based on experience, with potential overtime.
