Are you ready to work?
Do you have a VALID Driver's License?
Are you dependable?
Do you have residential or commercial electrical experience?
Let's talk!
We're a tight-knit, family-owned electrical company built on trust, craftsmanship, and good old-fashioned hard work — without the corporate stress. We're looking for a contract Journeyman Electrician who values quality, takes pride in their work, and wants to be part of a crew that feels more like family than coworkers.
Whether it's wiring a custom home or troubleshooting on a commercial site, we work hard and support each other while keeping things relaxed and down-to-earth. If you're looking for a place where your skills are appreciated and your work-life balance actually matters, you're in the right spot.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Handling electrical installs, maintenance, and repairs in both residential and commercial settings.
Diagnosing issues and troubleshooting systems using meters, tools, and your experience.
Reading and interpreting blueprints, proposals, and schematics (we like people who double-check, not just guess).
Making sure all work is up to code and up to our standards (we don’t cut corners).
Working with both low-voltage and high-voltage systems, depending on the job.
Teaming up with other trades on-site to get renovation projects across the finish line.
Keeping your space clean and safe – because neat work is smart work.
What We’re Looking For:
A Journeyman Electrician with real experience in residential and commercial environments (license preferred, but not required).
Someone confident with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing gear.
A strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC), and how to work within it.
Ability to read and work off schematics, bids, and technical documents.
Experience around construction sites – frame carpentry or general maintenance is a plus.
Someone who takes pride in their work and can think on their feet to solve problems.
A team player who can communicate well and enjoys a little banter on the job.
Why You’ll Love Working With Us:
Family-first mindset – we know life outside of work matters, and we make sure you have the time for it.
No corporate nonsense – just honest work with good people.
Supportive environment – you’ll be respected, trusted, and treated like part of the crew from day one.
Steady work, variety of projects – from homes to businesses, no two days are the same.
Send an email (gmillerelectric@bellsouth.net) or give us a call (502-479-9009)! Resumes are preferred, but not required. Just tell us a little bit about you and your experience.
We are excited to hear from you!
