 Ingram Barge Company is seeking a Recruiter, focused on marine role hiring, to join the Operations team in our Paducah, KY location. In this position you’ll be responsible for full cycle recruiting, meaning, you are empowered to source, interview, make hiring decisions, and see your candidates through to their first day of Orientation. A team player at heart, the successful Recruiter will demonstrate robust communication skills and collaborate with leaders’ company-wide to achieve staffing objectives to keep our vessels fully staffed.What you will be doing:Maintaining organizational job postings and advertisementsSourcing marine candidates through various methods including social mediaScreening high volume applications and resumesAssessing candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, and aptitude by interviewing in person and virtuallyExtending job offers on the spot and informing candidates of offer details, employment requirements, etc.Facilitating or assisting with facilitation of drug screens, background checks, and pre-employment physicalsFacilitating interview events in various locations along the waterways in which Ingram operatesManaging candidates through post offer process by continuous communication, and consistent, accurate data entryConsistently providing status updates to candidates and hiring managersOnboarding new associates for New Hire OrientationRepresenting Ingram (sometimes independently) at career fairs and career exploration events (schools, industry events, etc.)Supporting department activities with regular and prompt attendance
