Description Robert Half is offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk with our client in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, within the Health Pharm/Biotech industry. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining and processing financial information, primarily focusing on account reconciliation, invoice coding, and data entry.Responsibilities: Handle account reconciliation tasks meticulously Oversee and manage the Accounts Payable (AP) function Conduct regular check runs to ensure timely payments Undertake coding of invoices accurately to maintain financial records Perform data entry tasks and maintain updated records Manage invoice processing efficiently to avoid any discrepancies Utilize Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis Operate Sage Intacct software for accounting tasks Handle EFT and EFT Payments effectively Monitor and manage company credit card transactionsRequirements Minimum of 5 years' experience in an Accounts Payable role within the Health Pharm/Biotech industry Proficiency in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Payable (AP) Experience with Check Runs and Coding Invoices Skilled in Data Entry and Invoice Processing Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Sage Intacct Knowledge and experience with EFT and EFT Payments Experience handling Company Credit Card and related transactions Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field is preferredRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
