Somerset Pacific is seeking a full-time energetic, experienced, multi-family property Maintenance Technician with HVAC Certification for ourRenaissance Gatewayapartment complex located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The position is responsible for the overall day-to-day and preventative maintenance of the apartment community. The ideal candidate should have at least a minimum of 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and repair experience.

Qualifications and Skills:
HVAC Certification and Training from an accredited school required
EPA Universal Required
Responsible for the timely completion of all maintenance service requests as assigned
Repair or replace defective equipment, components, or wiring.
Maintain inventory controls for cost effective operations
Schedule and complete preventative maintenance
Assist in monitoring all work being performed by outside contractors
Responsible for 24-hour emergency maintenance service as scheduled
Maintain monthly inspection and maintenance of building and HVAC roof motors and fans and replace as needed; clean, grease and paint all equipment used in heating and ventilation
Keep accurate records regarding preventative maintenance, work orders, inspections and inventories
Positive interaction with residents
Lead and direct maintenance team for timely completion of unit turns, work orders and grounds.
This position is contingent on completion of successful background, criminal, and drug screening.
