Administrative Assistant

Description We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for an Administrative Assistant with our client in the Non-Profit sector in New Orleans, Louisiana. This role primarily focuses on document management and administrative tasks, ensuring adherence to the organization's retention policy. Responsibilities: Ensure all documents are in-house and comply with company's retention policy Manage and purge unnecessary documents and files Update and maintain the folder structure to improve document organization Examine paperwork to ensure they meet the organization's requirements Collaborate with the file room personnel to manage and organize documents Utilize Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Word for correspondence and data management Conduct data entry tasks efficiently Utilize skills in Filing and Purging to maintain an organized document system Respond to and resolve customer inquiries in a timely manner Monitor customer accounts and take necessary action based on the situationRequirements Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Word Experience handling correspondence professionally and efficiently Proven ability to perform data entry tasks with high level of accuracy Knowledge and experience in purging unnecessary files and documents Familiarity with filing systems and maintaining organized records Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Experience in a non-profit setting is a plus Strong organizational and multitasking abilities High level of attention to detail Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information Proactive attitude and ability to take initiative when necessary Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively Previous experience in an administrative role is advantageous Familiarity with standard office equipment Ability to adapt to changing work conditions and prioritiesRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
