Find your future with us.Boeing Global Services is searching for F/A-18 Weapons/Armament Specialist willing to work on 1st or 2nd shift at Naval Air Station (NAS) Joint Reserve Base (JRB) New Orleans in Belle Chasse, Louisiana.Position Responsibilities:

Assembles, disassembles and/or modifies systems by changing, removing, replacing or upgrading aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement changes.

Coordinates assembly, disassembly or overhaul.

Configures aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment.

Troubleshoots complex pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components.

Performs validation/verification testing of systems and components.

Documents procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance (e.g., repairs, test results, applicable modifications and inspection results).

Inspects components and verifies repairs for flight worthiness requirements.

Oversees training.

Works under general direction.

Qualify and maintain required qualifications to support the program and contract

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at NAS JRB New Orleans in Belle Chasse, Louisiana.This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Minimum of 3 years of experience in military fighter aircraft maintenance

Willing to work variable shifts; including days, evenings, nights and weekends

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Fighter Structural modification experience

Fighter Electrical modification experience
