As part of an outstanding team of scientists and business professionals at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you’ll do important work, like helping customers with advancing research in materials science, product quality assurance or improving manufacturing processes.Within Thermo Fisher Scientific’s Chemical Analysis Division, you will have a real-world impact by leading all aspects of the sales process in a multi-state sales territory for our Molecular Spectroscopy Process (Raman) instruments.What we do We schedule and coordinate face to face technical interactions with customers. Lead product demonstrations in collaboration with your applications support team to deliver detailed presentations to customers. We provide input in technical consultation and problem solving to meet customer needs. Meet or exceed established sales goals by delivering bookings commitments in accordance with business unit targets. We build and implement strategies and tactical plans to drive growth. Identify, interpret, and respond to customer’s requirements in line with the division’s capabilities. Communicate bookings outlook to management and the broader organization to ensure visibility into performance and timely delivery of products and services. We drive collaboration and accountability through improved sales pipeline and forecast management processes by using sales tools like Salesforce. We work with product management teams and make recommendations based on the understanding of marketing and new product plans.Who we are looking for

Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or related sciences is required

Proficient analytical skills with experience in process related applications

2 to 5 years of technical lab or sales experience

Comfortable leading discussions, giving presentations in-person or remotely.

Demonstrated technical sales or hands-on experience with scientific instrumentation.

Business travel up to 50% or more, as needed within the sales region.

Resides within the primary sales territory (LA, MS,AL)
