Job Description: As the Kitchen Manager, you'll work closely with our owner to bring culinary visions to life. Your responsibilities will include:
Working shifts in the kitchen, overseeing pizza production, and ensuring quality and consistency.
Staffing and managing other pizza cooks, including setting schedules and providing training.
Procuring ingredients by going grocery shopping (must have a reliable car).
Collaborating with the owner to develop and execute new menu ideas and concepts.
Maintaining kitchen cleanliness and adhering to safety and sanitation standards (need a servsafe manager card)
Embracing creativity and innovation in all aspects of pizza-making.
Making cameo appearances on our fairly well-trafficked Socials, showcasing your skills and creativity to our audience.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a kitchen management role, preferably in a pizza restaurant or similar environment.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Passion for food and creativity, with a willingness to experiment and try new things.
Reliable transportation for grocery shopping.
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
Salary and Benefits: We offer a competitive salary of $45,000 for a 3-month trial period, during which you'll have the opportunity to showcase your skills and fit within our team. After the trial period, the salary will increase to $50,000 per year, with regular performance reviews for pay raises every 6 months. Additionally, you'll have the chance to work alongside the owner, collaborate on exciting projects, and showcase your creativity.
