Small criminal defense law firm seeks to hire a part time attorney on a 1099 hourly basis to make court appearances and assist with case management. This position is ideal for a newly licensed attorney or solo practitioner who desires to supplement his or her income. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both Spanish and English, but all Louisiana licensed candidates are welcome to apply.

Hourly rate: $40/hr (travel time included as hourly pay) paid at the end of each work week.
It is estimated that hours needed will be between 15 to 30 per week, possibly more depending on the needs of the office.
The contract position may lead to full-time employment.
