Job Title: IT Technician (Hardware) 40 hours a week - Monday-Friday (9am-5pm) - 18 Month Contract (opportunity for extension, opportunity for FTE) Top Skills Details:PC Build, Computer Hardware Configuration, Troubleshooting, Desktop Support, Imaging, Install, Asset Management, Windows 10Additional Skills & Qualifications:Nice to haves will be install experience, configuration experience, deployment experience.Experience Level:Entry/Intermediate Level (0-3 years of experience) Description:The IT Technician will install the new device/peripherals at a designated location. This service includes: FIFO (First In First Out) Method for deployment of units must be used Collect the units from a central building locationo Inventory & document the count and serial numbers of devices delivered to the siteo Deliver the above to the PM daily Unpack devices & stage for delivery based upon Deployment Plan Lead to scan New Serial numbers being deployed on a daily basis to the End-users into worksheet for SCDM (Prior to deploying to end-users) Visit End-users location based upon daily schedule De-install the legacy device and designated peripherals being replaced. Perform Data Back-up at End-users Desk (who do not have One drive) using File Transfer Wizard Tool. Install the unit at the designated location following OBHS Northern Lights Health standardso Connect new device to Network & Power up to verify device functionalityo Perform Cabling as required, with neat and proper cable managemento Reconnect and/or install additional peripherals (mouse, pen, keyboard) and perform configuration to the new deviceo Record New Serial Numbers of Hardware installed on Cust. Acceptance. Document. o Obtain designated contact signature on the Customer Acceptance Document for the new functional device. o Remove legacy equipment and place in a centralized area within the designated area Place Label on Legacy equipment noting the “retrieval date”o Perform Disk Wiping (10 Days after unit is deployed) at Designated area & ensure all data is captured on the approved Disk Wipe form. o Provide Disk wipe form to PM to arrange for pick-up of Legacy equipment. Remove the packaging material from the work area and bring to a packing and trash removal area in the same buildingAbout TEKsystems: We're partners in transformation.
