We are currently recruiting for a Receiver Non-Ferrous with experience for our Bangor, Maine location. Under the supervision of the Yard Manager, the incumbent will be  responsible for  the general maintenance of the  premises. Receiving, sorting and organizing different types of non-ferrous metalsClassify the non-ferrous and establish the type of materialProperly weigh and track the materialDo general maintenance of the premisesEnsure the equipment in good conditionData entry into the in-house receiving software Provide excellent customer serviceHelp with torch cutting if necessaryPreparing shipments and receiving equipment using forklift as requiredWork with a safety oriented mindsetQualificationsExperience in operating a forkliftExperience in metal recyclingExperience with computer software and Microsoft office suiteAbility to work indoors/outdoors in all weather conditionsCustomer Service experience in a retail preferredAbility to work as a teamExcellent attendance and safety record.Additional InformationAdditional Information:Permanent and full-time position;40 hours per week, including some rotating weekend workOpportunity for overtime;What we offer:Group insurance after 3 months;401K Workwear and work boots provided after 3 months
