The Front of House (FOH) Manager will oversee all front-of-house operations, ensuring excellent guest experiences while leading, training, and supporting our service staff. This role requires a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can balance guest satisfaction with staff management, and upholds The River Tap & Grill’s culture of friendly, professional service.
What You’ll Do
Lead, train, and manage front-of-house staff (servers, bartenders, bussers, and hosts).
Ensure consistent, high-quality service standards and a positive guest experience.
Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and concerns with professionalism and problem-solving.
Oversee scheduling, shift management, and floor coverage.
Collaborate with the kitchen and bar teams to maintain smooth operations.
Monitor cleanliness, ambiance, and organization of the dining and bar areas.
Support hiring, onboarding, and continuous training of FOH staff.
Assist with inventory management for FOH supplies (menus, service tools, etc.).
Uphold health, safety, and compliance standards.
Act as a role model of professionalism, teamwork, and hospitality.
