Job Title: Restaurant Manager
### Job Description:
Slice Pizza & Wings is looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The Restaurant Manager will ensure that the restaurant operates efficiently and profitably while maintaining our reputation and ethos. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing both front-of-house and back-of-house activities, ensuring excellent customer service, quality food standards, and a well-maintained dining environment.
### Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Service & Satisfaction:
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by monitoring and responding to customer feedback.
- Handle customer complaints promptly and professionally.
- Implement strategies to enhance the customer experience.
2. Staff Management:
- Recruit, interview, and train new employees in line with restaurant procedures.
- Organize staff schedules, monitor attendance, and manage shift changes.
- Appraise employee performance, providing feedback, and discipline or retrain as needed.
3. Operations & Safety Compliance:
- Supervise daily operations of both front-of-house and back-of-house activities.
- Maintain safety and food quality standards, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
- Implement and oversee cleaning schedules for all departments.
4. Inventory & Ordering:
- Order food, beverages (including beer and spirits), and other supplies necessary for restaurant operations.
- Ensure proper food preparation and labeling practices are followed.
5. Creative Input:
- Develop and implement new drink specials to attract and retain customers.
### Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of restaurant operations, including both front- and back-of-house management.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on satisfaction.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team, with experience in staff management and training.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and compliance standards.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Creative mindset for developing new drink specials.
