Job Responsibilities
As a part of the farm crew, you’ll help with harvesting, washing vegetables, packing orders, keeping records, greenhouse planting, transplanting, trellising, weeding and more.
Dates: April 3rd - November 22nd
Rate: $17-$20/hr based on experience

Schedule: 8am - 4pm, Monday through Friday

About Phil’s Farm
In 2024, we will grow about 30 different crops on 5 acres of land and sell the produce through a CSA and to two wholesale accounts. We deliver our CSA boxes to multiple locations from Bowdoinham to Portsmouth, NH and expect to have about 200 CSA members. The farm has a greenhouse for producing seedlings, two hoophouses for tomatoes and peppers and the remaining crops are grown outdoors in the fields. We use three tractors to prepare the fields, cultivate the crops and help with harvesting- the rest of the work is done by hand.
Requirements:
- Be able to lift 50 lbs
Work culture
- You’ll work alongside 3 coworkers each day
- We limit working on a single task to 2-3 hours so that the work stays interesting and fun - We like to listen to music, laugh and enjoy our time on the farm. Farming is a lifestyle and we chose to enjoy it!
