This job is about taking care of the back entrance to our apple plant in Turner ME. Tasks include; adding firewood to wood boiler, cleaning out ashes, checking water levels, unloading/loading trucks with fork lift, moving bins to the storage rooms and stacking them there, cleaning apple empty bins, cutting firewood to length, and stacking in bins, sweeping pad, magnet picking nails, repairing bins and pallets, loading deer apples and pumi, moving snow, chipping ice, sanding, assisting others with there tasks when needed. There is some paperwork, writing down what and how many bins or pallets you unload, write down who you load with what bins of deer apples. Turn in this paperwork everyday. You need to be able to physically handle the hard work, and be nice to customers and other employees. We work 45 hours per week, we can be flexible with when you work these hours. Yes the 5 hours are at over time rate. In the fall during harvest we average 6 days of work weekly.
