Franklin Printing/ 2nd Shift Bindery Assistant/ Farmington, Maine
Franklin Printing is seeking a 2nd Shift Bindery Assistant. In this position, the Bindery helper performs a variety of simple hand and machine operations, such as gathering, folding, stapling, and binding.
Requirements of the Bindery Assistant:
Highschool diploma or equivalent
Manufacturing: 5 years (preferred)
Ability to read, write and understand work orders
Basic computer skills
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Ability to lift 50lbs
Self-motivated and problem solver

Pay $18, + $2 shift differential
Monday – Thursday work week

Responsibilities of the Bindery Assistant:
Assist Operators
Operating bindery equipment to bind printed materials like books, magazines and pamphlets
Loading and catching materials on various equipment, shrink wrapping and boxing, hand collating
Keeping work area clean, with a safe operating area
Basic equipment maintenance
