Rosemont is looking to bring on a leader who loves food and community to support the deli in our Scarborough market!
In this position, you can expect to:
-Create an exceptional new hire experience by providing training and coaching for new retail team members.
-Provide leadership presence in your market when the manager and/or assistant manager are out.
-Deliver exceptional results in your area of focus (deli, produce or both).
-Build and improve process with a focus on efficiency.
-Lead by example and support existing retail team members in their growth and development.
-Work hands-on with produce, meats, cheeses, baked goods and dry goods from here and away.
-Engage and educate our customers about what makes our local products so unique and special.
-Collaborate with co-workers on stocking, packing, and merchandising projects to create a consistent and curated experience across our markets.
Applicant Must-Haves:
-Some evening and weekend availability, especially around holidays.
-A passion for all food but especially local food.
-Strong leadership skills and a passion for helping others grow and develop.
-Strong focus on continuous improvement and efficiency.
-Strong hospitality, customer service, and interpersonal communication skills.
-Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
-Ability to give, receive, and apply feedback.
-Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs.
-Ability to stand for the majority of shift.
