Supply Store Associate & Delivery Driver

Portland Pottery Supply is seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Supply Store Associate. This versatile role combines driving responsibilities with customer service and support in our supply shop. This position offers an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for ceramics and a knack for customer interaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Supply Shop Responsibilities:

-Assist customers with inquiries, purchases, and recommendations in our retail supply store.

-Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently.

-Maintain a clean and organized store environment.

-Load pottery supplies and equipment into customer vehicles at the Supply Store.

-Contact customers when their work is ready to be picked up, help customers locate their work.

Customer Service:

-Provide exceptional customer service both in-person and over the phone.

-Answer questions about pottery supplies, kilns, and related products.

-Address customer concerns and resolve issues promptly and professionally.

Inventory and Payments:

-Take and enter payments and products into the database.

-Update inventory for pottery equipment and supplies as needed.

Qualifications:

-Basic knowledge of ceramics and pottery equipment required; willingness to learn more about kiln assembly and pottery supplies.

-Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks related to warehouse duties.

-Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.

-Comfortable with a customer-facing role and a strong desire to assist and support customers.

-Competitive hourly wage ($18-$20) based on experience.

-Full-time employees can opt into a healthcare plan after 90 days of full-time employment. PTO after 6 months.
