Position Summary:

This opening is for an Inside Sales Representative at Woodex Bearing Company, Inc. It is a full-time, onsite, long-term position with an opportunity for advancement within our growing company. The responsibilities for this position include costings, quotations, order entry, first line of customer support and will interface with manufacturing, engineering, and buyers.

To be successful as an Inside Sales Representative, you should possess an in-depth knowledge of Woodex/ MECO’s products and services, and you should be able to relate this knowledge in a way that is understandable to non-technical and technical customers alike. This position does involve occasional travels for trade show support.

Inside Sales Representative Responsibilities:

Work collaboratively with Engineers to determine customer needs.

Cost simple to elaborate assemblies from existing charts or on a case-by-case basis.

Send quotes and enter sales orders.

Review defined assemblies & components for updated costing and status.

Become knowledgeable of the entire Woodex/ MECO products line.

Interact with end-users, OEMs & distributors by providing proposals and general explanations of MECO products.

Discuss seal installations, customers equipment, and logistics with end-users.

Support marketing department working trade show booths and with distributors.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma with two or more years of inside sales in a technical manufacturing setting with experience with data entry, emailing and preparing quotes or an equivalent amount of education and experience.

Strong mechanical aptitude: experience with industrial machinery is a plus.

Read equipment blueprints.

Strong written and verbal communication.

The ability to relay technical information to both technical and non-technical customers.

Excellent technical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent organization and time management.

Good leadership, self-direction, and team working skills.

Willingness to travel on occasion, nationally and preferably, also internationally.
