Seeking experienced manager for high volume golf cart rental business on Peaks Island

This is a great job for a highly motivated and creative person ready to take on a lot of responsibility (it comes with a lot of freedom, too!). You will take full control of a fleet of 20 golf carts and a staff of 5-7 employees. Your job, in a sentence, is to operate the business as safely, profitably, and smoothly as possible.
The job is 7 month/year (outside with a water view!) and you make your own schedule. 20 hours/week interacting with customers, 10 hours/week doing admin work, 10 hours/week working on repairs. April - November. Successful applicants will be available for a 2-3 year commitment and be willing to consider relocating to Peaks (seasonally at least). This is a high pressure job during peak season you are "on call" even when you are not working.
Salary: $1100/week + 5-15k bonus depending on profits + year round health insurance
Skills must include:
- At least two years managerial experience — ability to handle hiring, scheduling, and payroll
- Ability to find creative ways to maximize sales and streamline the business
- Technological savviness — ability to learn our booking software, payroll software, etc.
- EXTREMELY effective time management skills — you will make your own schedule
- Commitment to problem solving, especially under pressure.
- Ability to work outside in various weather conditions
- Ability to provide high quality customer service and to coach employees on doing the same
- Willingness to communicate, accept constructive criticism, and strive for improvement
- Attention to detail, cleanliness, etc.
- Respect for/accountability to the island community in which the business operates; ability to liaison with neighbors
- Crisis management skills
Some familiarity with golf cart repair or electric vehicles is a HUGE PLUS but not a requirement
