Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Audit Manager in Baltimore, Maryland. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing audit engagements, developing audit plans, and overseeing the budget processes. You will also be expected to work with Accounting Software Systems such as CaseWare and CCH ProSystem Fx.Responsibilities: Manage and conduct audit engagements to ensure compliance and accuracy Develop comprehensive audit plans and programs Oversee the budget processes and ensure efficiency Use CaseWare and CCH ProSystem Fx for various accounting functions Conduct government audits in compliance with established standards Maintain CPA Designation and stay updated with current accounting practices Ensure all auditing activities adhere to established policies and regulations Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and reliable operations Utilize your auditing skills to identify and address potential issues Continually improve auditing processes and procedures for better efficiency and productivityRequirements Proficient in conducting Audit Programs, managing Accounting Functions, and leading Audit Engagements Demonstrated experience in Auditing and creating comprehensive Audit Plans Ability to manage Budget Processes efficiently and effectively Must possess a valid CPA Designation Experience in conducting Government Audits is highly desirable Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Proficient in using audit software and other relevant computer applications Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
