Robert Half Technology has a Desktop Support Technician role with a company in the Manufacturing industry that may be the position for you, if that's you. Located in the Sparks, Maryland, area, this Desktop Support Analyst role is full-time in nature.Your responsibilities
Coordinate hardware repairs with the appropriate vendors
Meet regularly and effectively with ticket submitters
Provide computer desktop support in accordance with established policies and procedures
Develop records of daily data communication transactions, issues and remedial actions taken or installation activities
Rectify computer problems, and suggest appropriate action/solutions
Offer support on a variety of computer hardware and software issues by identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems
Support, examine, and repair computer systems, hardware, printers, and computer peripherals
Requirements
Knowledgeable when it comes to writing reports, business correspondence, user instructions, and procedure manuals
3+ years of desktop support or other related experience
Proficiency in Active Directory
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Database
Printer Hardware experience required
Foundational knowledge in Basic Network Troubleshooting
Solid understanding of Network Printers
Proven knowledge of IP Telephony
