Selected candidates must be willing to work on-site at least 2 days a weekYour future duties and responsibilities: Lead Development and implementation of data related frameworks, processes, procedures, policies, communications, training, and metrics to better manage agency data assets. Provide senior level support on the establishment and alignment of Enterprise Business Data Architecture and Enterprise Business Architecture with the Data Governance and Enterprise Data Strategy. Work closely with management teams, architects, data scientists, and analysts to understand agency objectives and challenges and identify areas where data can add value. Develop strategies for collecting, organizing, and analyzing relevant data using various tools and techniques to extract useful information, uncover trends, patterns, and insights for informed decision-making. Develop plans to influence/govern the data lifecycle starting with data capture / acquisition behaviors to enhance data quality and completeness (creation, acquisition, privacy, integrity, security, quality, and use of data and information (data lifecycle)). Assist with developing and implementing data governance and execution, operating models, role and license management, conceptual models and data architectures, and implementation plans. Assist with the management and execution of CDO governing bodies (e.g., Chief Data Officer Council, Enterprise Data Management Executive Board). Define KPIs, metrics and reports to measure the effectiveness of data strategies, show progress, impacts to data and progress toward federal objectives (e.g., FDS and OMB), etc.) Monitor technological trends and advances in data analysis, evaluating new technologies and recommending improvements to incorporate the latest innovations. Create and maintain standards and governance policies for repository population to ensure compliance with data governance requirements. Present findings and recommendations to senior management using data visualizations, reports, and presentations.Required qualifications to be successful in this role: Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.Master's degree preferred. Minimum 8 years advanced level experience in data strategy, data governance, or related roles. Experience conducting analysis and designing, developing, building, testing, deploying, and providing training utilizing data governance tools. Strong understanding of Enterprise Data Governance principles and Federal Data Strategy guidelines. Ability to align Enterprise Business and Data Architecture with broader organizational strategies. Proficiency in analyzing data, developing business strategies, and defining KPIs. Ability to lead initiatives, influence change and drive consensus at all levels of the organization. Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and collaboration skills.CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and license and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
