AECOM has an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Control & Monitoring System Test & Commissioning Engineer.  The position will be based at the MDOT Purple Line project office in Riverdale, MD. In this role, you will provide owner oversight of the testing and commissioning of the rail transit system control center control and monitoring system providing train traffic management (TTM), supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA), and security/surveillance functions. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, high levels of discretion, professionalism, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. The position will be required to be full-time in the project office in Riverdale, MD. Must be flexible in working hours and available to work at night or during weekends as needed to oversee testing. Key Responsibilities: Review and approve control and monitoring system and integration test procedures. Oversee execution of on-site control and monitoring system and integration testing. Review and approve control and monitoring system and integration test reports. Collaborate with team members to achieve organizational goals and objectives. Perform a variety of tasks related to control and monitoring system testing and commissioning and systems integration. Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of communications system testing and commissioning activities. Maintain accurate records and documentation. Communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders. Adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.  Contribute to a positive work environment through teamwork and collaboration.
