Hersh’s, an Italian restaurant in South Baltimore, is seeking a Bar Manager/Head Bartender.
Job Requirements:
Two years experience as a Bartender.
Previous experience as a Bar Manager (preferred but not required).
Experience in a fine dining or upscale establishment with exceptional & detailed service.
A strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktails & food and the ability to train others.
The ability to work well with others.
A commitment to providing exceptional service to every guest.
A passion for food, people & hospitality.
Job Duties:
3-4 Bar shifts per week
Biweekly beverage order
Maintaining the Bar & Wine Program
Training Bar staff (new & continuing education)
Training & educating all service staff on Wine, Cocktails & Spirits
Monthly Beverage Inventory & Analysis
Maintaining an organized and well-prepared bar
