Verde is a trendy Neapolitan Pizza restaurant. We are looking for outgoing and enthusiastic personalities with a true love for food and beverage. We are currently building out our second location in Harbor Point and there will be opportunities for promotion.

We are seeking motivated restaurant talent to become our next Pastry Chef & Kitchen Manager

Baltimore has fast become a city flooded with capable service-industry professionals, many with the passion, natural ability, training and experience in their current positions to take on leadership in our busy, beautiful, home-grown Canton neighborhood restaurant.

We are offering this opportunity to: current Pastry Chefs looking to take their next inspiring step. We are connected to our personal authenticity as well as our greater community, so we recognize finding the right person, rather than simply the right checklist of experiences, is the roadmap to discovering our next great Kitchen Manager.

The Kitchen Manager should:

Be a high energy, dynamic and personable teacher

Have four years of quality experience in the industry

Have a strong understanding of restaurant kitchen systems. Your expertise is your greatest asset!

Have an interest in using only the highest quality ingredients, serving food that is authentic and representative of its region

Possess some experience training and managing people or teams

Ability to analyze. Show urgency, organization, professionalism and confident articulation

Have worked within restaurants or restaurant groups with multiple locations

Additional helpful skills:

-Compeat, Restaurant 365, POS systems

-Spanish speaker a huge plus

-Restaurant Kitchen budgets and costing

-Expo/kitchen operations

Position Details:

Full-time on-site, Pastry Chef and Manager of a BOH staff of 6

The Chef/Manager is scheduled for 40+ hours in-restaurant. Additional time will be required at busier times of the year.

Afternoon and evening position.
