Active DOD Secret Clearance

The Badging Officer will be responsible for processing security and access permissions for personnel and others requiring building access. The Badging Officer will be familiar with specified procedures, policies and process’s as set forth for the position in post orders. This position will also activate or deactivate photo identification cards, program of access using the client software program, monitor CCTV, alarm programming for guard responses, answer security telephones, office filing, record keeping, and other similar duties as specified in post orders.RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensure all persons and vehicles have the proper credentials to enter the site

Perform customer service by interacting with internal and external clients and assisting in finding resolutions of issues or concerns

Process badges and maintain appropriate logs regarding the issuance, return and track all associated actions

Monitor and regulate the daily activities to ensure compliance with site policies and procedures

Retain and maintain all access control documents, as well as conduct audits on access control records

Record and report any incidents to the Site Supervisor, Operations Manager, or Site Security Manager

Acknowledge and share pass down information with officers on shift

Make emergency notifications as necessary pursuant to site Post Orders

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Security Personnel shall issue all badges to employee/non-employee.

Security Personnel shall brief Corporate Security on all badges issued at the end of the week.

Security Personnel must be capable of working all post to provide breaks to provide breaks.

Security Personnel will provide Customer Service to employees/ Contractors, Primary Trainer for Badge office, enforce Physical & Electronic Access Control protocols, Hold Interviews with new possible candidates, print badges for client Corporate Headquarters Employees/Contractors badges and provide assistance for numerous client facilities across US, conduct fingerprinting, Hold roles as Identity Proofer (Citizenship Verification)/ Common Badge Issuer. Correspond with client Badge offices across USA/ International for badge processing.

Provide Administrative assistance to the Client for Officers spreadsheets active and inactive. Provide Organization to the office with Data Tracking Log sheets. Process Data Entry for new onboarding Officers to the facility. Clerical Duties: Mail Fed Ex, Track packages, place badge orders, supply orders.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or equivalent

Minimum of six (6) months of prior security professional experience, preferably with a focus on access credentialing

Active DoD Secret Clearance

Effective oral and written communication skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications

Able to assess and evaluate situations effectively

Identify critical issues quickly and accurately

Research, investigate, compile information

Write informatively, clearly, and accurately

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Prior military or civilian law enforcement experience

College degree in Criminal Justice
