Material Test TechnicianJob Category: Engineering and Technical SupportTime Type: Full timeMinimum Clearance Required to Start: SecretEmployee Type: RegularPercentage of Travel Required: Up to 10%Type of Travel: LocalThe Opportunity:CACI is seeking a Material Test Technician to support On-Site Non-Destructive Evaluation (NDE) efforts in Northern, VA / MD and is 100% on-site.Responsibilities:Provide test and evaluation support for Radiographic Testing, Magnetic Particle Testing, Liquid Penetrant Testing, Ultrasonic Testing, and/or Eddy Current Testing.Qualifications:Required:

A high school diploma or GED.

Certificate(s) in nondestructive testing.

Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.

Ability to read and understand test and evaluation requirements and experience with MS Office suite of products.

Eager to learn, self-starter.

Desired:

Degree in engineering or related experience in non-destructive testing.

5 + years of experience doing Radiographic Testing, Magnetic Particle Testing, Liquid Penetrant Testing, Ultrasonic Testing, and/or Eddy Current Testing.

Familiarity with Material Science and Materials inspections on various metals, polymers, and composites.

Active Secret Clearance.

Experience working on a government or DoD site.
