Job Title: Material Handler/Shipping/ReceivingJob DescriptionAs a Shipping Specialist II, you will complete processing of standard orders, from generating deliveries, pulling parts, packing, preparing documentation, processing on the business system, and arranging collection. These duties are performed under the general direction of the Supervisor.Responsibilities
Pack and process domestic spare parts shipments.
Pack and process domestic pallets for shipment.
Pack and process domestic RMA's, RTV's, SUB's, and miscellaneous shipments.
Utilize a working knowledge of freight terms, domestic shipping, and basic Incoterms to process shipments and recognize potential issues and errors.
Use SAP to locate and transfer inventory, generate, and process delivery notes.
Use FedEx and UPS software, plus carrier websites to process shipments, obtain freight quotes, and track shipments.
Complete Acrobat templates.
Use email efficiently and professionally.
Enter data in Word and Excel as necessary.
Effectively communicate intercompany and with freight forwarders via email, phone, or in person.
Pull inventory via pick list or move ticket from several locations.
Receive inbound shipments as needed.
Count inventory as directed.
Report upcoming supply shortages.
Essential Skills
High school diploma or GED plus six (6) months shipping or material handling experience.
Ability to lift 70 lbs., climb ladders, and reach items stored up to 6 feet high.
Good time management skills with the ability to deliver high-quality work within allotted time.
Ability to operate hand pallet jacks, including scale and electric models, plus manual lifts.
Basic carpentry skills.
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite and a business operating system. Must possess the aptitude to learn specific applications.
