Job DescriptionA client of Insight Global is looking to hire 2 Level 3 Fiber Install Technicians in the US to help support their fiber cable buildout plan. This person will be responsible for travelling to job sites across the US for 2-4 weeks at a time, working in data centers and large facilities, and running fiber cables from equipment to mainframes. They will also be responsible for racking and stacking equipment, adding/removing non-powered equipment/hardware, adding/removing wiring and connections on non-working equipment and switchboard cable, and using tools and power meters to troubleshoot and assess installation.The ideal candidate is professional, has strong written and verbal communication skills, likes working with their hands, and is comfortable with heavy travel. They must come from an installation background (preferably fiber installation, but could also be more general telecom or IT installation) and will receive remote training to help them advance their fiber installation skills.
