Description Job Title: Accounts Receivable SpecialistJob Summary:We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our finance team. The Accounts Receivable Specialist will be responsible for managing and processing incoming payments, ensuring accuracy in financial records, and resolving any discrepancies. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining accurate financial records. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the financial health of the organization by ensuring timely and efficient management of accounts receivable.Key Responsibilities:
Process incoming payments in a timely and accurate manner, including checks, electronic payments, and credit card transactions.
Reconcile payments received with outstanding invoices and update accounts accordingly.
Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to payments, billing, or invoices.
Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up with customers on outstanding balances.
Communicate with customers regarding payment inquiries, discrepancies, and payment arrangements.
Collaborate with other departments, including sales and customer service, to address customer payment issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
Prepare and send regular statements to customers, as needed.
Assist in the preparation of financial reports and analysis related to accounts receivable.
Maintain accurate records of all accounts receivable transactions and adjustments.
Stay informed about industry trends and best practices related to accounts receivable processes and procedures.
