Supply Chain Analyst

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Supply Chain Analyst, based in HUNT VALLEY, Maryland. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, where they will play a key role in supporting the supply chain processes and providing actionable insights through data analysis.Responsibilities: Extract, analyze, and review data to track performance on key supply chain metrics such as demand, supply, customer service, and inventory. Prepare detailed reports and presentations on supply chain metrics, and build operational dashboards. Support supply planning activities as needed, including stock transfers, expedite requisitions, and monitoring stock receipt at the distribution centers. Collaborate closely with Supply Planners for the evaluation and action steps based on the Finished Good time supply reports and Days on Hand. Execute ad-hoc analysis requests to support end-to-end needs and trade-off decisions. Support commercialization and supply projects. Prepare and communicate weekly service reports and track MTD and YTD performance to enable loss tree creation and root cause analysis. Maintain loss trees around each key supply chain metric to enable continuous improvement best practices in planning. Support the Playbook and Integrated Business Planning reporting cycle by preparing detailed reports. Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action based on the analysis of their credit applications and records.Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Supply Chain Analyst role or similar within the Food & Food Processing industry Demonstrated skills in Communication and Customer Service Proven experience in Forecasting and KPI Reporting Proficiency in Supply Chain Logistics and Supply Chain Strategy Experience in Supply Inventory Management and Supply Chain Risk Management Familiarity with Operational Dashboards and Ad Hoc Analysis Strong Data Analysis skills Proven ability to Create Purchase Orders Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or related field preferred Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work output Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure to meet deadlines Solid understanding of industry best practices and emerging trends in supply chain management.
